Three Labs, One Purpose: The Origins of NTT Research

NTT Research’s President and CEO, Kazuhiro Gomi, explains the origins of the NTT Research group and the three labs that currently make up the focus of their fundamental research. This research tends to be longer term and influence a wider part of society – helping us plan for and understand the reality of 10-15 years from now.  “NTT has the width and depth to support these long-term visions and long-term efforts.” The technologies that NTT Research’s labs are developing, from quantum neural networks to medical informatics, are relevant not just for the future of the company, but for all of us, helping to shape the flourishing world that we want to achieve – to “upgrade reality” and create a better world for all.
